At Eagle Valley Youth Ranch, we believe therapy is a relational event, that healing and change are possible as young women make and foster quality relationships through therapy and with other treatment staff. Our team of professionals model appropriate relationship building and help students develop a sense of mutual trust, which facilitates change in their behavior and their life. We do not offer a miracle cure, but we do offer an opportunity for real life change. We find that our students are able to make dramatic changes once they realize their individual talents and their unique ability to contribute to the world.
Following a brief orientation to the program, students receive a comprehensive mental health assessment. This evaluation is designed to determine the emotional, psychological, and family issues the young woman is facing. Both this assessment and all follow-up therapy are provided by our clinical director, so that each student has someone she can trust throughout the treatment process.
